Welcome to the Biomedical Ultrasound Lab at Case Western Reserve University.
Our mission is to develop high-precision, affordable, and personalized ultrasound technologies that improve early diagnosis, non-invasive therapy, and continuous health monitoring.
Ultrasound is uniquely powerful because it is safe, portable, cost-effective, and non-invasive. It allows us to see deep inside the body while also enabling "surgery without scalpels" by using focused sound waves to ablate pathological tissue.
Our team works at the intersection of ultrasound instrumentation, advanced algorithms, and clinical translation to address the urgent and unmet clinical needs, including but not limited to cancer and neurological disorders.
